Holiday Attire | Outfits of the week

So, when I was on holiday around 2 weeks ago I filmed some of my outfits that I wore for the purpose of this video. Weirdly some of the footage of a few outfits has disappeared and I can only assume I must have accidentally deleted the videos (stupid me). I really enjoyed filming and editing this video and I hope to do more videos like this in the future. Hope you enjoy the video, don't forget to subscribe to my youtube to see more videos!

Purple Haze | Make up Look

I have to admit, I don't wear eyeshadow all that often, I'd say I only apply eyeshadow two or three times each month - I know, that's hardly ever. The reason for that is, essentially I don't feel the need to go to the fuss of spending countless minutes pondering over the many choices a palette has to offer, only to side with my trusty MAC quad with which i know will go forth and create the same variations of a look that I have in the past ended up with numerous times. Not that this fate bothers me - I personally like the neutral, bronzed look that seems to coat my eyelids once in a blue moon; however, occasionally - the day that these pictures were taken being an example - I like to wander to the more colourful hues that my Rainbow Eyes Front Cover pallete has at hand, or rather, box.

For this look which I have decided to appropriately name 'Purple Haze' was the result of myself having too much time on my hands while getting ready for a party. For the party I wore a white lace playsuit so, I had decided in an advance that I wanted to incorporate a bit of colour into the outfit through the make up on my face, specifically my eyes.
To start off the base of this look, I used a light mixture of the eye shadows in my MAC quad, (Of course I had to put it into play in some way! I am too loyal.) I mainly applied this to the inner corner of my eyes and then to the crease of my eyelids. After that, I browsed my Front Cover palette and decided upon a pretty, shimmering pink/lilac colour called 'Viola' to apply to my eyelids as the main colour for the look. I applied this colour heavy to my eyelids, building it up gradually towards the outer corners of my eyes. I also lightly dusted 'Viola' under the waterline of my eyes to make the colour more prominent so it stood out even more.
To finish this make up look I applied my Sleek kohl eyeliner pencil onto the waterline of my eyes and then I took my Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Cherish Devotion to coat my lips, with it being in a pink hue this adds to the presence of colour in this look, therefore it finishes it all off collectively.

Mini Haul | Topshop & Primark

I know this haul is really tiny but I felt like filming so I hope you don't mind! Hope you enjoy this video anyway!

Lace Layer

This outfit is a bit different from what I'd usually wear, not in the sense of the clothes I'm wearing but the layering on the top over the dress - I never layer clothing. That's not because I don't like the look of it but simply because I've never thought to do it before these pictures were taken. I decided to throw the lacey top over the monochrome dress in order to make the outfit more interesting; I'd been inspired by other fashion bloggers and I'm glad - I really liked the look of the panel on the cream top showing the striped straps through the black lace. I also threw on my coral/orange blazer to add a pop of colour to the outfit.

Mini Nail Polish Haul

| From left to right : Essie - Maximillian strasse her | Barry M Gelly Hi-Shine - Key Lime 317 | Essie - Go Ginza |

It's no secret that I am slightly obsessed with nail polish, although I might not own a rainbow colour coded collection like many other bloggers and youtubers, that fact doesn't stop me from buying more and more of what I don't really need but, of course want.
I purchased two of these nail polishes from Fragrance Direct my trusty go to website for discounted make up, their prices are amazing!
The two Essie nail polishes that I bought were only £1.99 each, it's hard to believe as usually they are priced a lot more nearer the £10 mark in boots, such a massive saving! These Essie nail polishes were two of my first and they haven't let me down, I am amazed at the formula of them - I've been wearing go ginza for days and it hasn't chipped at all. As a plus, the colour is amazing and only took one coat to appear opaque.
The odd one out in this tiny haul, the Barry M Gelly nail polish in Key lime, I purchased from Asos. I can't grumble at the price of this item either - only £3.99! I am yet to try out this nail polish but I'm sure it won't disappoint, i've heard nothing but good reviews about this product.
