Lemons and Limes | Outfit

I just can't stop wearing this lace dress from ASOS, there are so many ways to style it. I originally put this outfit together with the thought and inspiration from a competition I was going to enter however, I didn't end up entering. I still wanted to post these outfit pictures though because I actually really like this outfit. I think the two colours: lime yellow and green go really well together. The layers of clothing that make up this outfit are not things that I'd initially think to put together but I'm glad I did as I'm trying to be more adventurous with my style.

I don't think I ever take off my Lavish Alice cut out ankle boots - I have yet to find an outfit that they don't go with. Plus, they make me look a little taller which is always going to be a good thing for me, being 5ft4 just doesn't cut it.

I also tried out the milkmaid braid on my hair, I really love the look of it - it's not very often that I wear my hair up. I've been looking for some new doable hairstyles recently, I'm getting bored of the same old same old.

Fabb Blogger Event Liverpool

On Saturday I attended the FABB blogger event in Liverpool, it was my first ever event and I have to say it wasn't anywhere near as daunting as I expected it to be - I had such a good time! I went with fellow blogger Allie to the swanky Pan Am Bar in the Albert Dock where the event was being held. The event was filled with many a blogger, it made me realise how many local bloggers there are, I was so surprised.

The event itself was amazing, being handed 'goodie bags' when you first walked through the doors was a pleasant surprise - without even getting started on the rest of the lovely freebies generously handed out by brands from Ark to Lush. Through talking to the lovely ladies representing their brands such as ESPA skincare and Crystal Clear Skincare I feel like I came away with new knowledge of beauty and skincare which is something to be cherished for me - I definitely feel more clued up about all things fashion and not so much when it comes to my skin. My favourite brand at the event was Ark which is no surprise considering I'm fashion driven, I felt drawn to the pastel patterned clothes hanging on the rack - I kept going back to look at them! The pictures don't do the clothes justice (I really regret not taking my Canon) but I also vlogged the event so you should check out my vlog too.

I really enjoyed the event and I will definitely won't hesitate to go to more if I ever get the chance. I came away with knowledge of so many new brands and the awareness of other local bloggers. It was just really nice to speak to other people who share the same interests as me and to feel like blogging was all a little bit more normal, I loved it!

Blush Tones | Outfit

I think this is the most colour I've worn in an outfit since those sunny months of August, ah I miss the sun. It's definitely the most red and pink toned outfit I've ever worn that is comprised of different pieces. I've been so used to staying away from colours of the pink palette in past years that I'd forgotten how you can indeed wear blush shades without looking like a walking neon Barbie. I was pleasantly surprised how well the red/pale lilac/burgundy tones complimented each other.

School Uniform | Outfit

This outfit looks so strikingly similar to the uniform which I usually wear to sixth form that I have to point out it was unintended. Though, I can't dismiss the fact that I was clearly inspired by my usual school attire.

I've been loving this lace dress recently, as I expressed in my last ootd and the reason for this is that it seems to go with everything. I've never had an item before that is so versatile and to think it only cost me £11! I can foresee it featuring in a lot of future outfit posts as I love finding new ways to style it.
