I miss the bare leg weather that graced England for about 2 days, sigh. I keep on wishing for a summer that resembles last years with the almost non stop sun, or that's how I remember it anyway. Nonetheless, the weather is not exactly bad right now so I shouldn't really be complaining but, I just wish the temperature would stay consistent. Hot weather offers so many different outfit combinations. Basically, I own way too many skirts.
I've been loving simple, monochrome outfits lately, this theme was the inspiration behind the concoction of the white shorts and silky cream cami combination above. To avoid the outfit looking too simple, I layered a contrasting sheer black kimono over the white pairing. I adore this kimono that I recently found in H&M, it was everything that I'd been wanting for awhile in terms of a kimono, no fancy fringing or tribal patterns - I tend not to favour that look. It's so basic and I love it for that reason, it goes with everything. The thing I love it most for? The price. It was a bargainous £10, yes.
I just couldn't resist throwing my neon yellow satchel over my shoulder to compliment this look. The lime yellow colour collectively adds a summer vibe to the outfit that would otherwise be lacking with the monochromatic colour palette.
