Sleeveless jackets have been everywhere lately, haven't they? Not one to shy away from a trend, I jumped on the bandwagon and snapped up this long white number from Primark - and I mean literally snapped up - the only size my local Primark had left, much to my dismay was a size 16. But being my eternally optimistic self I decided to take the plunge and deal with the ever so slightly gaping arm-holes - I don't dare take a chance with Primark's restocking system and I was not going to let this find become a lost-and-never-to-be-found-again. I'm forever wishing for an online store, if only... all of my Primark related troubles would be solved.

Fizz, my beloved cat (I can't say such feelings are reciprocated, a hiss isn't a sign of affection now is it?) decided to make an appearance while the sun was out and no, you are not mistaken in the first picture she does look as if she is slightly pissed off and trying to escape - at least that's her general mood when I show her affection - it's unrequited love and it hurts.

There was so much to praise from last night's Met Gala in New York, with the theme based around China: Through the Looking Glass - the Met's new exhibition, rich oriental tones ensued. Copious amounts of red graced the carpet, no surprise then that I found it hard to cut down on the favouritism, with Gigi Hadid, Sienna Miller and Hailee Steinfield all stunning in rouge. Not forgetting Poppy Delevingne who took the tone one step further - donning actual poppies, inspired by her name no doubt - and looking rather radiant while doing so too. A stand out favourite of the night would have to be Kendall Jenner in custom Calvin Klein, the girl literally glows in lush emerald green, plus, I can't resist a bit of tie-up detail at the moment. Emma Roberts similarly shone in a silk Ralph Lauren gown of akin tone.

Lily Collins channelled Audrey Hepburn in Chanel while the ever stylish Olsen twins, Mary-Kate and Ashley darkened the red carpet in floor-length black, maybe Anna Wintour wouldn't be in favour but I'm certainly fan. Divided opinions have formed surrounding Rihanna's grand yellow Guo Pei couture Cape - personally I think she stole the show and looked stunning from head to toe, her choice of accessories and beauty are also faultless, a stand out winner for me.

Other honourable mentions are Zendaya Coleman who looked fierce in Fausto Puglisi, Georgia May Jagger who wore Gucci and of course, Beyonce who took sheer to a whole new level in Givenchy.
