Neon Tropic | OOTD

I adore these Tropical/Hawaiian print shorts from Missguided, I'd been looking for a pair like these for ages! The shorts look so amazing on and make the outfit, for me personally. The material of the shorts is kind of thick and sturdy which I like, they don't feel flimsy in any way. I love the design of them  nearly as much as the pattern itself, the cut out detail at the front adds so much to the overall look of the shorts, plus - they have pockets on both sides which is handy! I bought these in a size 6 and they fit me perfectly; definitely my new favourite summer wardrobe piece.
I also love the bag that I am wearing in these pictures, I'd been lusting over a bright yellow bag for awhile and when I saw this for £12.99 I couldn't turn it down, It's a lovely size and I adore the satchel look of the bag. Such a steal!

My Everyday Makeup Routine

I decided to film My Everyday Makeup Routine last week when I had some spare time. Please excuse my no makeup face that makes me look about 12 years old, i'm trying not to think about the fact that I'm putting my bare face on the internet! Aside from that this video was my first time filming and editing a video like this so it's not perfect but I think it turned out okay. I'm hoping to be filming a lot more videos like this in the future, finally a video that is not just a haul!

Dandelion Red | OOTD

I really like how these pictures turned out, it was so hot and sunny when I ventured out into my parched back garden to take these and I think the pictures portray that; although that could be purely down to the fact that the grass is a dry crispy yellow.

I adore this outfit that I threw together, I've been loving bright pops of colour recently and the H&M skirt that I'm wearing gives a bright dose of this, hot coral red is my favourite - the skirt is also made of a lovely thick waffle material. I think the shiny belt from Missguided makes the outfit look a lot more dressy and high fashion than it would normally, it stops the outfit from looking too plain and I love that. I recently purchased a pair of black jujus on impulse from River Island and I have been wearing them with everything, I am in love! They're quite comfortable for a shoe with a heel and I adore the look of them, I feel like they 'grunge' up every outfit and give off a 90s feel which, as i've mentioned in the past is something i really love.

Four Recent Lip Product Purchases

Okay so I am just going to apologise in advance for the bad quality of these pictures, I'm still trying to figure out what is the best way to take pictures like these and in what setting etc, it can only get better i suppose (and hope).

I bought these items in the last month, some from superdrug and some from fragrance direct. If i had to pick one make up product that I am the most obsessed with it would have to be lip products, especially lipsticks. With everything else i find it kind of unnecessary to own tons of the same thing but in my opinion you can never have too many lipsticks, there's just so much variety to chose from.

Revlon Colourburst Lip Butter in 035 Candy Apple

I bought this because I heard really good reviews and up until point of purchase I didn't own a red lipstick. I was kind of scared at the thought of something so bright as a red lipstick but I'm so glad I bought it, I think it really suits my skin tone. It's not a dark red it is very much as the name describes it a 'Candy' red. The formula of this product is so good, it applies on the lips so smooth and you can feel it moisturising your lips. The colour seems to stay pretty well too. I'd even go as far as to say this is my favourite lip product and I will definitely be purchasing more of the Lip Butters.

Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in 015 Cherish Devotion

I bought this product for the same reason as the lip butter and I was not left feeling disappointed. Firstly I love the colour of this balm stain and it applies true to colour on the lips. The texture is good, not as moisturising as the lip butter and it feels more thick on the lips but nonetheless i still really like it. The colour stays really well and I love how the product has a mint scent, it is quite refreshing. I also love the packaging of the product and the way that you only have to twist the bottom to get more product.

Fragrance Direct

Maybelline Colour Sensational in 380 Sweet Bordeaux

I really love the colour of this lipstick, it's very pigmented and it's a dark berry colour but applies lighter than the colour shows in the stick of the lipstick. The texture of this product feels quite moisturising and stays on the lips for awhile. I love the packaging of this product and i really like the product itself. The only problem I have is that you have to make you sure you reapply this after eating because i've found it to tend to settle within the cracks of your lips which can be frustrating.

Maybelline Colour Sensational Popstick in 060 Citrus Slice

I bought this under the impression that it was a lipstick like the other Maybelline product I purchased but I think it is different, as it's name suggests being a 'popstick' even though on the fragrance direct website both products were under the same name. I'm not really sure how I feel about this product, it doesn't seem to do anything, it has barely any colour and just gives a slight sheen to the lips. It does have a lovely 'candy-fruit' scent though and feels quite moisturising on the lips but that's about it really.

Another haul for you all, hope you don't mind! I am planning on recording a lot more videos and they won't all be hauls - I promise!
Anyway for now, I hope you enjoy this video.

Year 11 Prom

On Friday I had my Year 11 prom. It was such an amazing night, everyone at prom looked so amazing with their dresses on and their hair and makeup done - of course that's just the girls but the boys looked so smart in their suits. Everyone looked so much older, in a good way of course.
From 12pm on the day of prom I had my hair, makeup and nails done, it's the most effort i've gone to for anything! It was all worth it though, prom was so much worthwhile than i thought it would be and now i'm wishing i could do the night all over again!
Prom lasted until around 12am, after that it was back to my friends house to get ready for after prom. I decided to ditch my nude 6 inch heels at this point as my feet were in a state of agony after traipsing round in them for 6 hours albeit i have to note they were comfier than i thought they would be.
After prom was just an enjoyable as prom, i ended up going to two parties and this resulted in me not getting home until gone 6am, yes really. All of this included dragging myself on a long walk (along with friends of course) to get food at 4am in the morning, leaving a house when it is dark and returning when the sun has risen is a weird feeling, especially when no one is around.
It sounds so corny but honestly it is a night that i will never forget.
Anyway enough of me rambling on, I thought i would include some pictures from the night in this post.
