I'm writing this while my bed is drowned with countless pages of lined a4, scattered among depths of folders and textbooks, ah the joyus feeling of too much work and not enough time to relax. Wondering why I ever wished for sixth form to begin again as my tiredness begins to gather to an uncontrollable level of sleepiness. It is so HARD to feel inspired when alls you want to do is sleep sleep sleep.

Anyway, on to the outfit - wearing monochrome while on holiday? Why not.

I have a selection of pictures taken while on holiday in Kos, a Greek island and this set is by far my favourite. Even though this isn't my favourite outfit of the holiday being it's a quite simple one at that, I just love the ombre of colours the sky holds in the background, just after sunset creates the best light. The hotel my family and I called home for a week was SO gorgeous, and that's not even mentioning the amazing food! It was a lovely week away and I just wish I could escape there now, away from the ever present gloom of work.

I got the chop - regarding my hair of course. It's something I've been wanting to do for awhile, a new change was something I felt was needed. I've banished the long hair for good. Or at least, for the near future. It was only a few weeks ago that I finally plucked up the courage to actually DO SOMETHING, after months of looking at countless pictures of hair inspo from the likes of Alexa Chung (obviously) and Suki Waterhouse. I LOVE my new hair, it's so fuss free and falls perfectly - even when I've just rolled out of bed and quite frankly I think the cut suits me a whole lot better than my longer locks.

Recently, i've been influenced by the colour yellow: my blonder hair, the presence of some sort of yellow tone in most of my outfit posts, and in general, the lemon print. Although I'm rejoicing that summer is drawing to an end as I tend to favour all things winter over s/s trends, the one thing I'll be missing is the absence of the lemon print.
