I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas. I sure did, infact, I spend most of the day consuming my body weight in food, and I'm estimating 90% was chocolate in content - what's not to love about that?! This was the year where I discovered that buying and giving presents to loved ones is a more enjoyable process that actually receiving gifts yourself. Do not get me wrong I LOVE receiving presents (especially the Naked 2 & 3 palettes I was kindly gifted this festive season), I just love the whole process of searching for those perfect presents for various family and friends; although, maybe the pleasure I feel out of this process stems from my compulsive love of shopping - sales here I come!

This year I have experienced a continuous stress of finding an apt party outfit, or rather numerous outfits due to the year of 18th parties (not that I'm complaining at all). Though, being a student on a tight budget, it is quite hard to make your money stretch and since I've exhausted most of my going out attire I thought what better way to gain inspiration than to construct a party edit series?

Missguided is always my first go-to option when in need of a new party ensemble. Their array of dresses and skirts and crop tops and bralets and jumpsuits and (breathe) dresses boasts a wide variety to choose from, often making it very hard for an indecisive person like me! In my opinion, their prices are pretty reasonable and their collections are unfallingly inspiring and fresh. My particular favourite theme running through the online store this season is the abundance of feather garnished items ranging from skirts to dresses to shoes - it all screams party season to me.
